Taking inspiration from some of Europe’s coolest cafe hang-out spots, this new brand will serve the very best coffee in a quirky and fun environment. This venue will be innovative, cutting-edge and introduce a coffee concept like never seen before in Dubai’s bustling hospitality scene.

The charismatic Owners of this business require a top quality UK based Cafe General Manager to lead from the front and have huge creative input into the business model. This role is more like a partnership than just a job as you will work closely with the Owners on a host of exciting areas with this big launch. They want you to feel valued and really be a part of this new journey from the very beginning.

What is required from this Cafe Manager candidate:

– Experience as a Cafe Manager in a cool, fashionable cafe venue, ideally in London
– An organised person with an ability to multi-task
– A team player with a cool head and an ability to work collaboratively with others towards team goals
– Someone with a warm and friendly nature
– An ability to negotiate contracts and have excellent financial knowledge
– A passion and knowledge for coffee. It should be a hobby, not just a career
– Awards or competition entries into barista contests would be favourable
– Someone looking to be part of an exciting new life and project in stunning Dubai

On offer is a competitive salary (around £30-40k) with accommodation allowance, plus other unique extras. Flights will of course be provided to Dubai.

A fantastic opportunity to join a leading alcohol business as a Retail Manager in the UAE has arisen. Our client is a leading drinks distributor and specialist retailer currently enjoying a long-established success across the Middle East.

They are currently seeking an experienced retail manager with a passion for wines, beers and craft spirits. We believe that this is an exciting proposal for the right person – someone who is a great team player, but a natural leader, who thrives on smashing targets and devising creative ideas to boost sales.

As a Retail Manager you will be responsible for:

-managing a team of staff, planning their rotations and arranging holiday cover
– ensuring that all key lines are always in stock that pricing is accurate and relevant
– ensuring that health and safety within the stores is up to date.
– hosting regular trade and private masterclasses.
– bringing in new local trade business
– gaining positive PR for the shop.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

– 2 to 3 years of proven experience in retail alcohol sales
– Strong drinks knowledge
– Experience in managing a team
– Events experience and Social Media skills are preferred
– ideally, having a WSET Level 3 or higher
