Manager , Maintenance - Emirates Airline (طيران الامارات) - Dubai

Job Outline:

• Ensure that sufficient equipment and resources are available, appropriately trained and qualified to perform all maintenance activities required. Provide leadership and performance manages all employees to ensure all employees are motivated and capable of meeting required standards.
  


• Oversee and ensure that all flights are fully serviced and are correctly dispatched in accordance to the maintenance manuals.
  


• Manage financial budgets for the area in accordance with cost centre and corporate guidelines. Manage and control the budget for the relevant maintenance activities ensuring that requirements are met at minimum cost.
  


• Manage and oversee all maintenance manuals and ensure that all aircraft maintenance operation documents are kept up to date and in line with regulatory body requirements.
  


• Review maintenance, check performance and produce regular activity and reliability reporting that will ensure maximum efficiency. Ensure performance is being achieved in all programs and projects being conducted with the Maintenance Departments.
  


• Ensure collaboration with other departments, both internal and external, to keep up-to-date with the maintenance industry and deliver strategically and tactical plans to ensure the delivery of an optimal maintenance plan.
  


• Manage and monitor financial and qualitative performance indicators on a regular basis for materials management and supplier performance to ensure that targets and goals are met consistently.
  


• Collaborate with the training team to ensure all the training demands are met by forecasting weekly, monthly and yearly projections.
  


• Plan and manage the maintenance undertaken and ensure all activities are performed in compliance with established technical and quality standards as approved by the regulatory authorities.
  


• Formulate strategy and direct the development of long term maintenance plans, heavy maintenance plan and short term maintenance plans for the EFTA fleet to support the training operating plan whilst complying with the relevant regulatory requirements.
  

Qualifications & Experience

Flight Operations : 10+ Years

Degree or Honours 12+3 or equivalent

Knowledge/Skills:

Degree or Licensed Aviation Engineer Aviation maintenance and previous experience with Piston and Jet Engine Aircraft Operations is preferable.

Experience with Cirrus and Embraer aircraft is preferable.

Management of maintance operations and good management skills.
