Department

The Security Team works closely with the Rooms Department and will provide safe and secure environment for Talents and guests alike.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Protect the hotel guests and keep the peace.


• To patrol all areas of the hotel Direct visitors and provide

assistance as necessary.

• Monitoring any undesirable elements to ensure that they do not

harass, harm or embarrass the hotel guests.

• To check parcels and items taken out by associates and other

authorized person.

• Surveillance of hotel staff by ensuring that they abide the hotel

rules.

• To monitor closely all security and safety system and ensure its

operability and effectiveness.

• Keeping peace and order within the premises of the hotel in

dealing with criminals, trespassers or difficult characters.

• Conduction regular and periodical checks.


• Taking immediate follow-up action to rectify faults and damage.


• Promotes the work culture and company’s core values.


• Control traffic in front of the hotel during arrival and departure of

VIPs during large gatherings and special functions.

Requirements

To move into this position you should have:

• Must hold or undergo Security Professionals training Course by

Dubai Police, and be registered with Dubai Police.

• One year experience in a similar role in a 5 star hotel.


• Should also have computer skills.


• Fluent in English both oral and written.


• Should have an understanding and ability to work in a

multicultural environment.

• Quick and eager to learn.


• Able to work under pressure.


• Physically fit.


• The applicant must be able to maintain confidentiality at all

times;

• Fit to work 3 shifts (morning, afternoon, night)


• Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):


• Constant standing and walking throughout shift


• Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps


• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive

motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and

visual acuity.

• Ability to work outdoor (outside temperature varies from 14° C

to 50° C with Humidity of up to 100% during summer).
