A well experienced Information Security Consultant possessing following profile.

Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Computers preferably with professional Certifications like CISSP, CISA. CISM and vendor related certifications like Cisco, F5, Palo Alto etc.

Experience: 6-8 years experience in Security Monitoring, InfoSec policies adherence, KPI tracking & achievement.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of Networks, Operating Systems, Databases & Applications.
Good understanding of various security threats and vulnerabilities.

Good knowledge of IT Security best practices (SANS Top 20 critical Security controls, OWASP Top 10, NIST etc.)
Strong analytical Skills for problem solving.

Responsibilities:

Implementation of the Technical Security requirements of the Information Security policies and standards in IT.
IT Security Operational KPI reporting to Information Security team
Management of the IT Security incident management
Closure of the vulnerabilities, identified in the various security assessments done by the Information Security teams.
Alerting on Patch Management of OS, DBs, Applications, Network & Security components and End User Applications to concerned teams.
Coordinating for Hardening of OS, DBs, Applications, Network & Security components and End User Applications to concerned teams.
Administration and Management of Security components such as Antivirus, Firewalls, IPS, VPN, MDM, PAM, Anti-Spam Servers, Web-Proxy, Email Security, Key Mgmt. Servers, SIEM & DLP.
Assistance in Implementation of Application Security controls during the Application Life cycle management including Secure Coding Practices & Secure Code reviews
Ensure that he security controls are implemented during the change, problem and the configuration management practices.
