Job Description: – Promotes/sells/secures Personal finance to existing customers. – Retain existing Personal finance customers on the portfolio . – X-sell enhanced takaful products to new customers and existing customers – X-sell Banca products to new and existing customers – Demonstrates products and services (as above) to existing/new to bank customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their individual needs. – Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers . – Makes telephone calls and in-person visits to the customers if required – Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints . – Coordinates with all the respective involved departments (CPV/CIU/OPS/Contact centre…etc) for product fulfilment. – Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services. – Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive, activities, and potential for new products and services. – Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and technical service areas. – Any other activities that may result in building additional balance or helping acquisitions – Resolve issues related to portfolio team (offshore and onshore) . – Quarterly review of sales scripts and productivity monitor across team. – Pro-active address any issue that might be classified as Risk (either Fraud Risk or Reputational Risk) -To ensure that code of the conduct as per the bank bank’s policy are adhered to. – To ensure that I do the documents original sighting as laid out in the original sighting guidelines of the KYC policy of the bank . – To ensure that the sales process prescribed by the bank is fully adhered to . – Verify that potential customers satisfy all criteria required of a desired customer profile as outlined by the bank. – Ensure full awareness of all policies and procedures issued in relation Shariah principles. – Ensure full awareness of all policies related to operational risk and mis selling, etc & comply by the same. – Maintain complete and detailed knowledge of all assigned products. – Maintain accurate and up to date activity records – Maximize sales referral opportunities by working with customer service colleagues. – Is responsible for delivering service to customers that is synonymous with the consumer brand experience being promoted by the organization. – To ensure performance as per the performance management criteria. Key Skills: – Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment. – Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Arabic (preferably). – Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software. Valid driver’s license. – Ability to work under severe time pressure and yet exhibit error-free work and achieve set targets and service standards. – Knowledge and understanding of general banking procedures. – Strong communication and negotiation skills. – Minimum 1-year’s sales experience in banking/ finance industry. – Experience in handling Asset Products. – Should be good at the following competencies: Customer / Result orientation, Initiative, Persuasiveness, Courageous and Good Selling Skills.
