How will you do this?


We’re looking for someone to develop, set, evolve and execute our University Recruiting (UR) vision and strategy for Microsoft Middle East and Africa (MEA) whilst collaborating with the wider India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA) and Intn’l UR leadership teams to help shape our overall global strategy. This will be an overarching strategy that positions Microsoft as an employer of choice at the top Universities, (both Int’l MBA Schools and local MEA Universities) among potential MACH (Microsoft Academy for College Hires) and Intern candidates.


You will be playing a key role in hiring the people who are going to continue to drive the Microsoft vision forward for future generations so we are looking for you to lead your team and your business to identify and attract the best sales, marketing, services and technical intern and graduate talent from across the world.

What will you need?


  • An insatiable curiosity and a passion to be at the leading edge of trends and innovation

  • A proven track record as a business leader and trusted advisor underpinned by outstanding commercial and business acumen

  • A focus on impact rather over and above simply the task itself, with an ability to demonstrate this impact both quantitatively and qualitatively

  • Experience of having managed and led teams with evidence of developing self and others

  • A proven track record of identifying, attracting and developing world class talent on an international scale (experience of Campus recruiting would be beneficial)

  • Deep knowledge and appreciation of the complexities and nuances of the IMEA region with the agility to effectively adapt and evolve to balance and meet the needs of the market and the organisation

  • A bias towards collaboration and team-working balanced with a willingness to take individual and collective ownership and accountability

  • Strong process orientation and project management including ability to manage multiple competing priorities

  • An ability to analyse and interpret multiple sources of data in order to determine recommended actions and build robust business cases

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent required; MBA or advanced degree in HR preferred

  • Flexibility around travel, as required.
