Hostess - Radisson Blu Hotel - Media City





Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City, requires a professional, responsible, pro-active service oriented individuals who believe in keeping promises and delivering the same with an attitude of Yes I Can! and Z-factor for the position of Hostess for our Food & Drinks Department.

Overview of role


To welcome the guest, as well as service guests within the restaurant to maximize guest satisfaction and food and beverage profitability. All work is carried outing line with the hotel’s guidelines, food and beverage sales and marketing plan, the restaurant business plan, and Radisson Blu corporate guidelines and service concepts.


Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities


  • Welcoming and seating restaurant customers in a friendly and efficient manner and provide

support to service staff.


  • Assisting the restaurant manager in ensuring all service standards are met as per the Standard

Operation Procedure Manual (SOP).


  • Maintaining an effective reservation system to maximize the potential number of covers and to meet

customers required needs.


  • Ensures ultimate customer satisfaction and seating capacity is achieved especially during busy

hours.


  • Briefing the guests of the running activities/promotions.

  • Meeting and Exceeding the needs expectations of every guest

  • Responding in a timely manner to guest requests as required

  • Collecting and analyzing guests preferences

  • Collecting guest comment cards to improve productivity, product and service quality

  • Maintaining a guest’s history list and sending them e-mails with upcoming promotions.

  • Making arrangements for special amenities when requested by guests for special occasions

  • Maintaining a logbook for the guest relation & PR activities.

  • Engaging and entertaining guests with appropriate discussions / conversations, providing

interesting details of the outlet


  • Establishing and building relationships with regular guests to understand their needs and

expectations


  • Any other tasks assigned by the management on regular basis

Person Specifications


Education: Higher Secondary or Diploma in Hotel Management


Languages: Fair Knowledge of English and any foreign language will be an added advantage


Experience required: 1 to 2 years at similar position


Other qualifications : Preferably Female only


: At least 5’6″ feet or 170 cm.


: Russian, French, Italian, German Nationality.


: Should possess pleasing personality.


: Excellent communication & administrational skills are essential
