Job Description
The purpose of this role is to serve as a focal point of contact for onboarding new hires and enhancing overall employee experience. This role will ensure that the new hires have access to all required equipments/departments/ technology tools on the date of joining and will contribute to their smooth transition to the Bank. This role will also relieve the Line Managers from the administrative activities required to onboard a new hire, thereby enabling the Line Managers to channel more time in active engagement with their new team members. Overall, this role will be instrumental in enhancing overall onboarding experience, contributing to increased productivity and reduced attrition of new hires.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Query resolution: Relationship management drive to take ownership of any queries/contingencies that new hires may be having before and after joining the Bank.
Project management: Multi-tasking to ensure new hires have access to all required equipments/departments/ technology tools on the date of joining. This will include coordination with Line Managers/Talent Acquisition team, creation of RMS, coordination with CRES, lining up for Right Start and business readiness programs, coordination of welcome messages, completion of form formalities, and follow-up with concerned departments to take matters to logical conclusion.
Stakeholder engagement: Interact with multiple stakeholders (Line Managers, Talent Acquisition, Talent and Learning, ITO and Property) to ensure all the key onboarding activities are well-synchronised and coordinated.
Reporting and Dashboards: Manage new hires tracker and contribute to AskHR’s survey / focus group efforts. Take required steps to work on the feedback and improvement ideas received.
Governance and Compliance: Respect and thoroughly follow the governance and compliance guidelines, to ensure all activities are done with the right process, completed in time, and are creating the right impact. Includes supporting the candidate in Group Staff Screening Process (GSSP), where required. Country Onboarding Governance Committee would issue improvement mandates from time to time, to be implemented by the Onboarding Specialist
Qualifications and Skills
Mature disposition, strong communication and relationship management skills
Ability to prioritise, multi-task and handle different competing initiatives concurrently
Assertive and confident individual who is able to communicate and engage with people of varying background and seniority levels
Ability to adapt and work across cultures, environments and time zones particular on a remote/virtual basis
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks efficiently with minimum supervision
Keen eye for detail to ensure service level agreements and standards are adhered to
Conservative risk-taker who can remain objective and manage governance of policies
Proficient in MS Office applications
