Senior Physiotherapist - MediClinic Middle East - Dubai
Mediclinic Dubai Mall Medical Centre, a 60,000 square feet medical facility is located in the World’s largest shopping Mall in Downtown Dubai, near the Burj Khalifa, the tallest tower in the world.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic person to work in a multicultural environment working as a senior physiotherapist in a large busy outpatient facility along with expert physicians specialising in a vast range of medical fields.
Requirements
Graduate from a Bachelor’s degree program in physical therapy from an accredited educational institution, college or university recognised by Dubai Health Authority(DHA).
Must have at least five years of work experience in an outpatient setting preferably dealing with Musculoskeletal cases.
Recent evidence in manual therapy training is mandatory.
Knowledge and experience dry needling would be an added advantage.
Must be able to check and monitor the performance of Physiotherapy equipments daily and report any problems.
Must have excellent personal attributes and interpersonal skills.
Must show ability to relate to other staff members and be able to successfully contribute to training functions.
Good command in English is essential and knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.
Key Outputs
Work as an integral part of the specialized team comprising medical, nursing and other healthcare staff, providing advice and recommendations regarding physiotherapy input and contributing toward service department.
Demonstrate effective and efficient case load management through prioritization of patients.
Should provide clinical care, encompassing physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management of physiotherapy patients assigned.
Perform advanced, specialised assessment of physiotherapy patients assigned including those with highly complex presentations to formulate a diagnosis and treatment plan which is carried out as an autonomous practitioner.
Should maintain accurate written records that comply with professional & legal requirements for self and team, including comprehensive progress and discharge reports as required by the company policy.
Adapt and develop services in own area, following discussions and agreement with the Physiotherapy In Charge, in response to demand and current clinical evidence.
Reports to the Medical Director for any duty which may be required in order to fulfill the overall responsibilities
