Fuel Sales Manager

Client:
From trip planning, fuel services, to concierge services, global business travellers and private charter operators need someone who can handle all the logistics to ensure successful travel. They now require a Fuel Sales Manager for a permanent position based in Dubai.
Main Activities
- Lead the Fuel Development efforts in support of the overall growth of the clients business.
- Develop an aggressive sales strategies and action plans to achieve the budgeted fuel sales targets.
- Monitor the performance and activities of existing clients and implement actions to drive more revenue.
- Customers price policy management in-line with the clients pricing objectives and customer’s business status.
- Improve the operational systems and support better management reporting.
- Manage the effectiveness and efficiency of the operation team, through improvements to each function and the coordination and communication flow between other support and business functions.
- Ensuring that Fuel Department works accurately, cost effectively and on-time service delivery to meet our customer expectations and quality standards.
- Maintain an excellent close relation with the client’s key fuel suppliers and Oil companies.
- Global Fuel Tender management and top suppliers contract overseeing.
- Work closely with the Global Sales members for the better management of our customer’s accounts.
- Work closely with accounts and finance to optimize the cost effectiveness of the fuel department and enhance the cash flow cycle.
- Work closely with marketing team and participate in relevant marketing events to generate leads and drive demand.
- Understand the key customer trends, mergers and acquisitions in the General Aviation industry.
- Gather data on competitors in order to analyse their prices, sales and methods of operation.
- Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customers’ changing business needs.
- Superior to industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other industry players to drive awareness and preference of the company services.
- Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team
- Ensuring that the Fuel department has the necessary manpower, competencies, skills, knowledge, and tools required in order to achieve functional targets (Procurement, Sales and Operations)
- Develop, train and motivate the fuel staff in each functional section.
- To establish a customer-focussed culture by implementing and managing initiatives and tools that aim to achieve customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention.
- Ensure a strong focus on Fuel Services Competencies development and quality in order to delight customers, enabled by effective coaching and performance feedback structures
- Effective management of internal programs and measurements that are indicators of likely customer satisfaction.
Required skills and experience:
Preferred Bachelors/Masters in Business Management or in any discipline with a minimum of 5-8 years in Fuel Services / Operation management
