Our client is a long-established retail publishing company with plans of branching out into the Middle East market. They are on the lookout for a highly motivated Retail Journalist to join their team based in Dubai.

As a Retail Journalist, you will be responsible for:

· Producing high quality news and content for the website

· Working to deadlines for news releases

· Maintaining relationship with key agencies and industry figures

· Representing the company in promotional events

· Interviewing senior retail professionals for exclusive articles

· Editing reports and checking accuracy of content and publishing articles using CMS

· Initiating partnerships with relevant editorial sources to provide articles for the site

· Distributing e-newsletters and managing the companys social media accounts

The ideal candidate must have:

· Journalism or English degree or equivalent

· Experience writing for a B2B news publication preferably within the retail/consumer industry related publication

· Strong knowledge and understanding of media law

· Excellent proofreading and subbing skills

· Strong commercial acumen with the ability to work under tight deadlines
