The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to work for Mace International on a major programme of projects in Dubai.

The Role

This position will be responsible for working with our Cost / Commercial team on a major programme of works.

The opportunity is to act as a key interface ensuring that the measurements for component projects are delivered successfully.

The person will be responsible for managing the process of delivering measurements, auditing and quality control by regular reviews and ‘spot-checks’.

The interfaces will be internal with the team, external sub-consultants and the teams providing the measurements and status updates.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Pre-Construction cost management experience is vital.


• Must have experience with well recognized, blue-chip construction organisations.


• Excellent technical grounding in all aspects of cost management.


• Strong knowledge in Cost Planning and Bills of Quantities as well.


• Management experience, both in the context of managing a team delivering a commission and general line management.

Key Requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.


• Experience directly on large programmes desired.


• Understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools.


• High communicator; across, up and down.


• RICS preferred but not essential.
