Job Description:
Plan, design, implement, maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN wireless network infrastructure and related services

Analyze the network needs/impacts (LAN, WAN & security) within the framework of infrastructure projects

Plan, design, support and maintain remote access infrastructure of Daman

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Daman network and security infrastructure

Identify and resolve complex network and security problems; use network management tools

Design, support and maintain branch connectivity and network setup

Manage network and security assets including maintenance of network and security component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information

Supervise the administration of network access rights

Monitor / test network performance / availability and provide statistics and reports

Ensure network security according to policies and procedures and documents information security processes

Analyze network resource utilization and implement solutions to correct problems to ensure all network applications are accessible and functioning properly

Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts

Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs

Job Requirements:
6+ years of experience in Network Administration in an organization with 500+ users, 100+ servers, 3+ branches and or service points

CCNP certification is a must, higher certifications are preferred

Any security certification will be a strong advantage

Relevant industries/technologies certifications a plus

Hands-on experience maintaining Web Security Gateways, routers, switches, firewalls, communications systems, IPS/IDS and load balancers

Strong knowledge and experience with VPN technologies and network protocols

Expert understanding of firewall configuration and maintenance

Strong background in wired and wireless Ethernet networking technologies (including VLANs, Spanning Tree, Port Channeling, 802.11abgn, etc.) and network security concepts.

Good knowledge and experience with ITIL framework.

Strong project planning and execution skills

Knowledge of server virtualization technology such as VMware, Citrix and/or Microsoft Hyper-V environments

Working technical knowledge of network and experience using Windows and Linux operating systems

Experience with vendor management in the region

Qualification:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, engineering or a related technical discipline
