Regional Account Manager - Active Cosmetic Ingredients, SAMEA - Givaudan - Dubai

As the Regional Account Manager for SAMEA (vast geographical territory covering the South Asia, Middle East & Africa), reporting to Global Head of Sales (Active Beauty), you have a passion to drive business in the Cosmetic Ingredients industry as part of Givaudan Active Beauty unit. If you are adept at delivering on the customer sales target and securing new wins, then this role will allow you to make an impact!

In this exciting role you will also:
Understand customer brand and


brand strategies while translating those into sales opportunities


You will have to


travel 50-75%


of your time to support activity and develop client relationships at high levels to capture business needs of key markets, and maintain a strong ability to manage customer issues to ensure a smooth resolution:


  • Manage existing distributors and making sure the bridge between distributors and Givaudan is solid and sustainable.

  • Develop, communicate and implement strategic, sales forecasts, and budget for key accounts, with clear KPIs

  • Manage opportunity pipeline (quality and quantity of projects) to achieve growth plans

You are technically savvy and can translate technical concepts into stories


You will have a strong business acumen to propose a strategic commercial approach to the Management team. You will also use this capability to create meaningful sales analysis.


You will act as the regional communication focal point for customer, facilitating flow of information to sales, marketing and technical groups


By benefiting of the strong presence of Givaudan everywhere in the world, you will maximize your contacts and network in the region’s cosmetic sector


You have strong negotiation skills and will manage all agreements with customers and distributors


Regularly reviews and delivers status reports on project progress and industrialization of projects

You have Bachelor’s degree; with a scientific background in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology will be preferred, MBA a plus


You have 3-5 years relevant (business to business) experience in Business Development / Account Management with prior experience in the Cosmetic Ingredients


You have a history of exceeding your personal objectives and are able to swiftly adapt to multicultural changing environment


You have managed Local and Regional accounts as well as distributors, and a fast paced, highly changeable work environment excites you. Your ability to influence across all organization levels has helped you to be results oriented and drive your business forward


You are a quick learner, keen to travel extensivelly across the diverse, vibrant markets


You are a passionate relationship builder with drive, well developed business acumen and perseverance to succeed and excel
