Restaurant / Outlet Manager - Dubai Herbal & Treatment Centre - Dubai

EAT-WELL is looking for a seasoned and passionate Restaurant Manager for the launch of The Dubai Herbal & Treatment Centre food and beverage division.

Working with our restaurant team, you will be responsible for excellent customer service through effectively managing the restaurant operations. This will include driving sales, merchandising and stock control in order to achieve the profitability.


DHTC has been the leading clinic for Complementary and Alternative Medicine in the UAE for the past 13 years and are now extending this vision into food and beverage aiming to raise the benchmark in healthy living.


Job Purpose:
Responsible to manage the smooth and efficient operations of the restaurant to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and profitability


Key Accountabilities:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service


Lead the day to day operation of the Food and Beverage restaurant ensuring all service standards are followed


Produce and implement creative promotional programs within the outlet with the goal of increasing revenues


Work closely with the Culinary team to execute the delivery of all Food & Beverage promotions and menus; creating a destination of choice


Conduct monthly departmental meetings and daily briefings


Ensure the Food & Beverage restaurant achieves its financial and operational targets


Adhere to the annual budget and administer it in a fiscally responsible manner


Monitor food, beverage, labor and operating expenses throughout the department


Monitor all guest service standards, constantly seeking ways to improve product and service as well as increase volumes and profits


Select, train and develop Colleagues to ensure timely recruitment and career growth


Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs


Follow department policies, procedures and service standards


Follow all safety policies


Other duties as assigned


Knowledge Skills and Experience:
Education:
Graduate in a relevant technical or business related discipline


Tertiary qualification in Hotel Management


Experience:
Minimum 4 years plus of relevant experience in the catering industry with 1 to 2 years’ experience in a management role


Functional Skills:
Specialized experience in Hospitality industry


Good knowledge of written and spoken English. Arabic would be an advantage


Excellent people management , communication and interpersonal skills


Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required


Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities


Highly responsible & reliable


Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment


Ability to work cohesively as part of a team


Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
