Database Administrator - Royal-Careers - Dubai

As the Database Administrator you will report to the IT Manager and build / implement the database infrastructure. Your main responsibilities will be to facilitate database design, organisation and maintenance.

You will also be responsible for resolving any business disruptions or inconveniences that business users may experience through database systems whilst maintaining strong relations with vendors through their support centre for problem resolution and work scheduling. In addition, you will be responsible for research and recommend upgrades / expansions.

The successful candidate should hold a bachelors Degree in computer science and have at least 5 years experience in Rational Database Design, Maintenance and Implementation with relevant technologies (SQL Server, Oracle etc). Experience in financial services would be an advantage.
